Teamsters-Vote---banner.jpg

Teamsters 117 supports policies that both strengthen Unions and put more money in the pockets of working families. That means we endorse candidates who support the policies we support so we can turn around a decline both in Union membership as well as the income disparity for middle-class Americans.

MEMBER-DRIVEN POLITICAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE

So far in 2018, our Statewide Political Advisory Committee met with nearly 50 candidates, and made endorsements for legislative office for positions which will appear on your General Election ballot this year. For more about our endorsement process, please click here.

WHO WE ENDORSE AND WHY

Teamsters 117 supports candidates who prioritize working family issues, who prioritize investments in education, who support good retirement policies, and who oppose right-to-work-for-less laws.

ELECTION 2018 - FIELD CALENDAR

Every fall, we go out and talk with Union members who are registered to vote - at their homes or on the phone - to make sure they understand what's at stake and which candidates we are endorsing. We put together our field calendar beginning with our first voter contact event on September 22 and going through the election in November.

Can you join us for an event near you to help get the vote out for our endorsed candidates?
